I liked the movie, simply I don't think they needed to change the story, especially the ending and so much. The truth was just equally interesting and dramatic. But with the mess of replacing the lead I think it was however a good pic.

All the reshoots in the world couldn't save this movie at the box part, shame actually as I enjoyed information technology. Information technology seems the richer yous are the stingier y'all go. He washed his ain clothes to save a penny? I'd have to fact check that one. Michelle Williams made this move and deserves all the credit.

Minor SPOILER Alarm All the Coin in the World is, all in all, an okay movie. That's how I would draw information technology to anyone who asked. Actually centre of the road; it has a practiced premise, and some worthy performances and cinematography, but ultimately, it wasn't everything I was hoping for. The story of how the earth's wealthiest individual denizen, though literally possessing "all the money in the world", would non pay for his grandson's ransom due to extreme frugality, is a very interesting one, and while I'yard not sure this pic went above and across telling it, information technology did enough. I'll offset by discussing the acting. Christopher Plummer was a delight in this picture, specially considering the fact that he shot his scenes over the course of 8 days. Michelle Williams did okay, she didn't really catch my attention though, similar to the film in that way. Marker Wahlberg annoyed me, but and so over again, Mark Wahlberg seems to badger me oft. Perchance it's a personal bias, I don't know, I simply didn't like him in the role. The screenplay and direction were, for the most part, good, but I recollect the dialogue definitely needed some improvement if the pic were to ever be considered great. I thought it was a gripping look into the World of the Getty family and the drama surrounding the kidnapping of Paul Getty who was the grandson of the richest man. Hard to picket at times as information technology makes you lot realize that all the coin in life isn't the reply and actually creates other problems.

Unexpectedly bland for a crime thriller, poorly paced, and full of unconvincing interim and unlikeable characters. The writing but didn't feel unique at all. Far likewise much focus was given to the topic of money, and not enough was given to action. Furthermore, the timing of the kidnapping was laughable, and the plot twists were pathetic. The father was a moron, the mother was annoying and seemed simulated, and the kid who got kidnapped was painfully naive. Christopher Plummer and Romain Duris gave good performances, but Michelle Williams and Charlie Plummer were garbage. And so Mark Wahlberg was average as ever. The cinematography and visual effects were fine, but the soundtrack wasn't memorable.

All the money in the world is a slower moving thriller but I still felt to be very captivating picture with excellent performances and a good story. Christopher Plummer nails information technology he is a much better choice over Kevin Spacey. A few scenes seem a little drawn out only overall it's a very good film and one of the better recent films from Ridley Scott.
