Entry #A-i Doll by MAMIE HARRIS from... Indiana, USA Cindy Cindy is giving her duck a large Buss subsequently picking him upwardly! Meet Cindy, She stands alone. She has a little xanthous baby duck, which she loves very much! Cindy is a 21 inch cloth infant doll with armatures. She is fully pose able and tin can pose in any fashion that you want her to pose. Cindy's little pinkish pock a dot height, trim with white lace, I made, Her Black hi height shoes, with pink and blue center, are shop bough. Cindy is i of The Patty Cake Kids. She is bending over to pick up her piddling yellowish ducky. Cindy has just dropped her little ducky. Special Mention by Voters.  Why... She is wonderful! Very well done! I would dearest ane like this. For her magnificent construction and posability, what a fun doll!

Entry #A-two Doll by Victoria DiPietro from... Sandy Springs , GA People's Choice 2nd Place - Advance Babe Evie I decided to try a built up confront and painted body to create Baby Evie. She is synthetic from muslin, interlock knit and fiberfill, with a face sculpt of cotton soaked Mod Podge. She is painted with acrylics and Mod Podge. She is 22" head to toe and wears a purchased wig. She is jointed at the shoulders, hips and her caput turns. I made her cloth diaper, socks, shoes and blue dress; which is trimmed in pin-tucks, silk ribbon embroidery and seed beads. There are 18 panels in the skirt. Bonnet and panties lucifer dress. All my original patterns. Special Mention by Voters.  Why... I really dear the technique using modge podge but the costume was nicely washed. I liked that she shared the steps in making the doll. I had never heard of soaking cotton with decoupage or painting with it either.

Entry #A-iv Doll past Ms. Bing Ruiter from... Raleigh, N. C. People'due south Choice 3rd Place - Advance Baby Princess of the Green World Baby Princess of the Green Globe was designed by me. The body is a basic babe doll pattern found in an old House and Garden Mag. I changed the pattern by adding hands with fingers instead of stumps, and changed the flat/pancake face to soft sculpture. I used the color of her optics as my inspiration to dress her in leaves. The leaves were cut from purchased silk flowers. "S" crystals were added as fingernails and a few were glued on her body along with butterflies, a dragonfly and other iron on decals. Her ponytail is adorned with the discussion Princess across the forepart. Baby Princess of the Dark-green Earth is a green baby and her mission is to inspire united states of america all to practice being green whenever we can in order to help save our planet Earth. Special Mention by Voters.  Why... She is truly function of this environmental change then creative!! Viewing this doll, information technology must have taken much fourth dimension and imagination. Baby Princess is not the ordinary doll because a bulletin is being conveyed here to save and protect our planet. This doll supports the electric current "green" awareness and is just adorable. The attention to detail is outstanding! Why This doll represents in then many ways what nosotros are facing today - the green ecology concept. I was very impressed with the depth, dimension, and particular the modifications added to Doll. Baby Princess of the Green Earth is so original. The doll is very pleasing to look at. She has her ain original way. I have never seen such uniqueness! I honey the mode she gives out a message to anybody, not only to love each other only as well to recycle and honey the planet we live on.

Entry #A-6 Doll by Jane Grand. Parks from... Kimbolton, Ohio BABY Face up An 18" baby doll.  Doll pattern was designed past Carolee Creations.   The ruffled panties was paw made from the pattern included with the doll just the elementary ruffled clothes I designed and made myself.  She has an embroidered face and a needle sculptured torso including a cute piffling barrel.  Her pilus tuff is "curly doll pilus" sewn on by mitt.

Sandy Springs, GA People's Option 1st Place - Advance Lilliputian Toby Run into my piffling guy, Toby, who'due south sporting 2 new teeth and a make new outfit. He's fascinated with the little sailboats on his rompers and his bright ruby shoes -- but, he is SO not liking the chapeau! Toby is eighteen" head to toe and is made from muslin and fiberfill; then painted. He is jointed at the shoulders, hips and neck. He wears a Huggies diaper, shirt, romper, lid, shoes and socks. These are my original patterns; except for shirt and hat which are altered Pleasant Company patterns. Purchased wig, diaper, stuffed animal, alphabet blocks and antique kid's chair. Special Mention by Voters.  Why... Exceptionally bully piece of work and the painted confront is wonderful . Very Sweet If I read this right, Toby is made from this maker's own design - and he is quite the "lady killer!" Very good presentation.

Entry #A-eight Doll by Elsa Antonia from... Curacao, Netherlands Antilles Michelle-Anne I am Michelle-Anne past Kezi original. I came to life while on vacation in The Netherlands. It's Spring and there are flowers every where. I am very happy and joyous for all the beauty around me. Come, sing along and dance with me like a butterfly in the heaven! Aye! Cloth: Doe Suede Apparel : homemade - various colour fabric pieces jointed together to course a circle skirt and decorated with ribbons. Hair: from a twisted hairband, mounted on a circumvolve and attached to doll caput. Shoes, socks and toy are purchased.

Indiana, USA Da,Jah Hi, this is De,Jah, she is 6 calendar month old, she is a cloth baby that has armatures, De,Jah like her little bonnie She is wearing a blue dapper shirt, and new born pamper and booties. she can hold her own canteen and her bonnie. Da,Jah likes to lay on her tummy and expect at the floor. Special Mention by Voters.  Why... Well done baby who looked extremely real at first glance. Beautiful eyes and nifty positioning.

Entry #A-11 Doll past Lisa Koziol from... Phoenix, AZ Little Angel Little Affections is 24" tall and wears a removable bunting. His body is made from an original pattern of mine and is 100% cotton wool stuffed to medium firmness with quality fiberfill. He has hands and anxiety, and his confront is a digital photo printed onto fabric. The bunting is also an original blueprint and is made of soft fleece, has a front zipper and elastic at the wrists and ankles. The hood is not connected to the bunting itself, but is permanently fastened around the face and head. He is quite striking to see in person as he is then realistic. His face is moisture-proof (for kissability), and his body is perfect for hugging! . Special Mention by Voters.  Why... I love how she got his face perfect. His confront is perfect. I would honey for her to do a confront babe for me! I would like to buy one of my ain kid'southward face. Remarkable likeness to a existent baby! Nice chore on the photo print on material. Excellent chore creating the outfit. I think this doll deserves special mention considering information technology is the most different of all the dolls that were entered. I did a double take when I saw information technology. Ingenuity, awesome reality, but actually does need a different category Considering of the astonishing style the face was done to make it so realistic. I think the picture transfer for the doll'due south face is hitting.

Entry #A-12 Doll by Danka Alquinta from... Metropolitana, Chile Bunny This is my Love 1, Bunny with her own rabbit. Bunny´s face up is very cute with her long eyelashes and blonde wig, her trunk makes her huggable and the back is really nice too. I chose Kezi Matthews design for doll and wear. I fabricated her shoes of blueish felt I bought soquets for her and as she was created as Bunny I gave her the white rabbit that Judi Ward created for her Alice, I remember it is a nice gift for Bunny. Special Mention by Voters.  Why... Lovely doll, looks huggable and very friendly for a daughter.

Entry #A-13 Doll by Kate Erbach from... Wisconsin, USA Dumpling A baby made from a pattern in Brenda Brightmore's book "Cloth Dolls" I've made her a bassinet, and actress outfits. Done in arts and crafts velour with tibetan lamb hair. Hand crocheted booties, and coating. Her name is Dumpling.

Entry #A-fourteen Doll by Gale Lyons from... Naples, FL Baby Becky Today was Baby Becky's birthday. She is two years erstwhile. She got some lovely gifts from her grandparents. Grandma Joan sent a special petty carved dolly for Becky. Her cousins sent dolls likewise. Dolls are her favorite toys. She also received a teddy deport and a superlative. Later on breakfast she played in her playpen with her new toys and in the late afternoon she got dressed for her birthday photograph. (Sometimes she likes to play in just her diaper!) Becky is made from felt and has a molded felt face with hand painted features.(my own design) I made the playpen with cushion, Becky, and her outfit, and all the dollies, well-nigh of which are carved from forest. (One of the dollies is fabric, the 1 dressed in white.) I also made nearly of the outfits for the dollies. The toy top was purchased. The teddy bear was purchased, but I made his outfit. Special Mention by Voters.  Why... She is so cute! Molding a felted confront for a doll seems a great claiming.

Entry #A-15 Doll by Mary Esther Ward from... Scranton, Pa Helen Helen is a Soft Sculpture, 16" high seated. Her body was designed by me from my own sketches, beginning with a wire armature and sculpted in layers of batting and felt. Her face is painted in acrylics, inspired by a photo. Her pilus is a blend of human being and acrylic, attached with silicone a few strands at a time. Her wearing apparel is vintage, as are the toy blocks. Helen was a new venture for me, equally I have never used felt for an entire piece before and found it challenging simply fun! Special Mention by Voters.  Why... This doll has great detail, a wonderful pose,and is totally captivating! She is made completely from felt and her face was designed past the artist from a photograph! Amazing talent! This doll has such an exquisite look about her, almost as if she was real, very similar to the antique dolls from a hundred years agone made by some of the virtually famous doll makers in the world. Helen for her advanced armature skills and sculptural beauty. Technique...Wow! Super detail in tiny fingers and awesome job with hair and paint.

Entry #A-16 Doll by Kate Erbach from... Wisconsin, U.s.a. Caelin Maeve A baby made from Judi Ward's Prince William design. Caelin Maeve, a very stubby happy baby, she is dressed in a silk dress with silk panties, heirloom crocheted bonnet and booties made past me, blanket and her very own baby doll. The little doll is made from a pattern in Pamela Peake's doll making volume. .

Entry #A-17 Doll by Jane M. Parks from... Kimbolton, Ohio BABY LOVE A 19" baby doll.  Pattern designed by Carolee Creations.  The clothing was hand made from the pattern included with the doll pattern.  She has a soft sculptured face with  hand embroidered eyes. She has "real" eyelashes.  And wears a existent disposable diaper. Her body likewise is soft sculptured.  Her pilus was made from faux fur and sewn on. Special Mention by Voters.  Why... the nigh surprised expression , the chubbie cheeks , and the pug nose makes her soo cute!

Entry #A-xviii Doll by Jane M. Parks from... Kimbolton, Ohio Affections Babe An eighteen" infant doll.  Blueprint designed by Judi Ward.  I altered the blueprint some what by non using the angel wings and halo and adding beads in her hair. Her hair is yarn curls twirled effectually my finger and dorsum stitched on i curl at a time.  She has an embroidered face and needle sculptured toes.  The wearing apparel were paw made from the pattern included with the doll.

Entry #A-19 Doll by Heide Boldt Diefenderfer from... Pennsylvania, The states Annie Baby Annie has a material body accommodate partially filled with plastic pebbles for weight and poly fiberfill for softness. Vesture : Infant Annie is wearing a Newborn babe shirt from the 1960th which my babies had worn and an antique crochet lace bonnet with silk ribbons. Infant Doll "Annie", two lbs, 4 oz, xx" long on April i,2009 Original Design Baby Annie pulling her ear and holding a bunny coating , her artillery were sewn like sleeves and attached to the body allowing full motion. Her hands were sewn separately, gently stuffed and posed, and then painted with Gesso & acrylic and finally modeling clay was added at the wrist for firmness and weight. The hands were and then dropped into the arms prior to stuffing , allowing for diverse posing of the hands. Assessory : The bunny security blanket was purchased. Infant Annie sucking her thumb and playing with her foot, her 3/four legs were sewn separately , stuffed, needle sculptured prior to painting with Gesso and acrylic for the experience of soft vinyl, then stitched to the torso arrange. Similarly, the textile head was stuffed, needle sculptured, painted and soft mohair was stitched to a cheesecloth base which was then glued onto the head. The caput with its wider cervix base was positioned onto the dolls bodysuit and Grrip glued at the cervix. Clothing : The pink jumpsuit , size 0-3 month, was purchased at a Thrift Shop Special Mention by Voters.  Why... I feel the dissimilar methods of putting this doll together was ingenious and should become recognition.
